What's New on the Ford Mustang?

As the seventh-generation model, the Mustang has plenty of new updates. With the all-new Mustang Dark Horse, you're getting a vehicle built for track laps that use a 500-horsepower V8 and 10-speed automatic transmission, while the Mustang Shelby GT500 offers a 760-horsepower option.

Interior

The Mustang is a two-door option and inside the interior has been updated to what Ford is calling "fighter-jet inspired," including a 12.4-inch instrument cluster which is a big upgrade over the previous edition and can be configured to display the details you want in front of you as you drive. There are cloth and micro-suede vinyl, and leather insert seating options depending on the one you choose, all while keeping its sports and muscle car tradition and making sure you know you're driving a Mustang.

Technology

The technology on the Mustang has many interesting features this includes Remote Rev which allows the car's engine to crank up the RPM just by clicking the key fob so you can hear the roar of the engine from outside your vehicle. There's also an available 13.2-inch touch display which has the latest connective software. You can connect to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® and there's Amazon Alexa integration as well, while the vehicle has the ability to update software like mapping and other tech features over the air as well.

Safety

There are plenty of driver assistance features available onboard the new Ford Mustang, such as Ford Co-Pilot360™ which offers standard adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and pothole mitigation available on select models.
